A Little Celebration

A little celebration can go a long way!

Do you celebrate when you have a win?

Set goals, milestones and a course of action to get there.  Decide up-front how you will reward yourself and how you will celebrate.  Have something to work towards and be inspired by.  Everybody is different and it makes for a much more rewarding achievement, when you celebrate your victories the way you deserve.

Today I’m having another celebration myself  (although this one was unplanned).  Last night I turned up as a guest for the first time to a local Toastmasters International evening and won first prize for the Best Table Topics presentation!

I was given a topic and called out to speak in front of the group with zero preparation time.  I felt a bit rusty and have always spoken on prepared topics in the past, but managed to pull it together and was presented with the award for Best Table Topics on the evening.

The other little win I’m celebrating is the successful acceptance by the Victorian Small Business Festival to host an event in the Festival Hub at Federation Square in Melbourne this August 4th at 2pm!!
